A paper entitled A selfish genetic element confers non-Mendelian inheritance in rice was published on Science on June 8. Yu Xiaowen, a postdoctoral fellow, and Professor Zhao Zhigang, both from college of agriculture, are parallel first authors of the paper. Academician Wan Jianmin is the corresponding author.
