主要从事作物生理生态方面的教学和研究工作,研究方向是水稻韧皮部同化物转运和籽粒灌浆领域。近年来,主持国家自然科学基金青年基金,江苏省优秀青年基金,国家重点研发计划项目子课题等项目。先后在PNAS、Plant Physiology、Journal of Experimental Botany等国际主流期刊发表第一/通讯作者SCI论文多篇,论文受到F1000重点推荐。主编本科生教材1部,并获得江苏省重点教材立项。
